Day 1: Tashkent
On arrival, the driver will meet you at the airport and drive to the city. Unbelievable Uzbekistan Tour 6 is already waiting for you. Our company offers amazing Uzbekistan tours. On arrival you will visit the Independence square placed as a sign of triumph over fascism in World War II. See the local Broadway and Tashkent metro opened in 1977. This tour will be continued visiting the Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex where you can see madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. You will be impressed by the Othman Quran which as the world's oldest Quran copy found in the 8th century. Quran belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph, but unfortunately he was killed by non-muslims in 8th century. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent- Nukus (morning flight)
Today is a flight to Nukus. On arrival you will have the city tour. You will visit the Museum of Savitsky which shows the masterworks of banned art. Museum collects 20th century Russian avant-garde paintings, works of Sokolov, Komarovskiy and Amaravella group. The steward of the Karakalpakstan state museum of art collected the artworks in 1960s. He procured banned works from hounded soviet artists and exhibited them in this isolated central Asian art-house. We will drive outside of Nukus to see Mizdakhan churchyard which used to be ancient city centuries ago. Archaeological outcomes established that area was unceasingly arrested from the 4th century BC till about 14th century AD. See a 2200 years-old Zoroastrian prehistoric monument known as Chilpyk. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 3: Nukus - Kungrat - Sudochye - Aral Sea (420 km, 9 hours)
Today we will travel to Aral Sea. You will pass via Nukus - Kungrad - Plato Ustyurt - Sudochye Lake - Aral Sea. We will stop at Gaur Kala Fortress ("stronghold of the infidels"), constructed around the fourth century B.C. The walls of the stronghold, the height of which surpasses ten meters, are enclosed by the conserved till our days a few strongholds. Nowadays it is unbearable to say for sure what kind of structures they were. On arrival to Aral Sea you will explore the surroundings. Overnight is in a tent.
Day 4: Aral Sea - Muinak - Nukus - Tashkent (440 km, 9 hours, flight)
After breakfast we will visit the picturesque canyons of Ustyurt and drive by Muinak through the dried bottom of the sea. The town of Muynak is one of the outstanding examples of the environmental catastrophe in the region. It was once the principal Karakalpakstan's port and Aral Sea center of fishery. On arrival in Muinak visit the necropolis of ship in ex-shore of the Aral Sea and town museum. Afterwards we will drive to Nukus and have a flight to Tashkent. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.
Day 5: Tashkent - Flight
