Day 1: Ashgabat - Old Nisa - Gypchak - Ashgabat
Our company is glad to see you on Unbelievable Turkmenistan Tour 3. On arrival, you will have a chance transfer to the city. Today you will have the city tour and visit the UNESCO heritage known as the Old Nisa. It belongs to the remains of the Parthian Empire, found in the III millennium BC - III millennium AD. Then visit the mosque and the mausoleum of president in Gypjak. Transfer to hotel for sleep.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Darwaza
The next destination of our tour is "Seyitjemaleddin". We are sure you will like it on tours. In the afternoon, our travelers will drive to the northern parts of the country and visit the village "Bahardok". On arrival, you will get acquainted with the local people and learn more about Turkmen people. We will continue to drive to the Darwaza Gas Crater and immerse into atmosphere of burning gas crater. You can have a picnic and spend night in a tent.
Day 3: Darwaza - Kunya Urgench - Dashoguz
In the morning, we will visit one of the most visited sites as Old Urgench, Capital of Khorezm, the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, which is considered to be the highest minaret in Central Asia Kutlyg Timur. Afterwards, overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Dashoguz - Damla
After brekafats we will travel to Damla, located in Karakum desert. The village is famous for traditions and customs of the people of Turkmenistan. Here you will find out the past and present history of local life. Its area is located in the east and shows us the opportunities to see sandy dunes. Damla must be visited on tours. Here you will see the nearest city - Bekuri. There are a lot of camels in this city. After productive tour, your night will be spent in a comfortable hotel.
Day 5: Damla - Mary - Margush
The next destination of is visiting the Mary City where you can see the ancient Margush- Gonurdepe. The Margush Oasis was found in the 5th century. The site Margush is recognized as the "lowland" which was first explored by Viktor Sarianidi, who was the head of the Margiana Archeological Expedition. Visitors will see the monuments to the Bronze Age. The Margiana sites are associated with those at the territory of the present Afghanistan and famous since ancient times. Night is in a tent.
Day 6: Margush - Merv - Mary
The tour will start by exploring the Old Merv, located right at the Great Silk Road. On arrival, you can see the famous sites as Gyz Gala, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Sanjar Mausoleum, IbnZeid Mausoleum. On arrival to the Mary city, night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Mary - Turkmenabad - Dayahatyn - Mary
We are glad to impress you by the next day of driving Turkmenabat city. On arrival, you will visit the Dayahatyn caravanserai since the medieval times. You will find it located at the banks of the Amu Darya River, enclosed by the Turkmenabat, Lebap Wilayah as well as by the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. You will be told about the fortress originated in the 9th century, but in the 11th century it had suffered numerous alterations, creating the shelter for the people going along the Great Silk Road. The Dayahatyn caravanserai is famous for its interesting style of the architecture. On arrival to Mary city, overnight is in a hotel.
Day 8: Mary - Ashgabat
This tour will start by having sightseeing in Ashgabat city. You will visit the National Historical museum, Gokdepe Mosque and Russian Bazaar. For sure you will be impressed by them tours. All of them belong to the national heritage of Turkmenistan. Afterwards, you will be transferred to a hotel for sleep.
Day 9: Flight
Transfer to the International Airport of Ashgabat. Unbelievable Turkmenistan Tour 3 is completed.
