The capital city lies at the foot hills of Kyrgyz range, on the altitude of about 700 meters above sea level. Yet it's one of the greenest cities in Central Asia.

Kyrgyz Republic obtained its independence on the 31st of August in 1991. So, now at this date we celebrate our Independence Day.

Kyrgyz Republic is magnificent mountainous country. It shares the border with China on the south east, Tajikistan on the south west, and Uzbekistan on the west and Kazakhstan on the north. The total area of the country is 198,500 square kilometers, and 93% of country's territory represents high mountains the forth part of them is covered with coniferous and deciduous forests. The average altitude is 2750 m. above sea level. Our country takes pride in fascinating mountains, magnificent celestial lakes and charming towns and villages are rich in their bright history and culture. Kyrgyz Republic was endowed with a fantastic severe nature conditions, but people who live in this country people treat it with great esteem. You can enjoy unique ecosystem which still retains its original view.
