Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley (170 km - 4 h)
30 min. drive to Bishkek City after you will be met by your guide at Manas International Airport. Bishkek city is where you will start the day with a breakfast in Dungan (Chinese Muslims) guesthouse. In case you arrive too early we can offer you a nice room with comfortable beds and you will be able to take a shower. This day is dedicated to Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Oak Park (Duboviy Park), Victory Square (Pobeda Square), National Concert Hall, Oriental Osh Bazaar, Museum of Fine Arts and many others nice sights. Chon Kemin valley transfer. On the way visiting, a site of a medieval city of Balasagun (comprising 11 c. minaret of Burana, which is the oldest in Central Asia), the capital of the Karahanid Kaganate, a Turkic dynasty of the 11 century. Overnight and dinner are in Kalmak - Ashuu Guesthouse.
Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga (150 km - 4 h)
Breakfast. Now, you will have time for a photo session to capture all the beauty of Chon Kemin Valley - large alpine valley. Here you have a wonderful opportunity to see real Kyrgyz nomads who live in yurts almost like 1000 years ago in the Tien- Shan Mountains surrounded by fast rivers, fir trees. En route to Tamga village, we will halt not far from Chon-Kemin to walk two hours in Konorchek labyrinths, where at the end of the canyon you will see an enchantment view of red mountains. Then picnic is organized here. On the way to Tamga we will visit our famous Talgat - a hunter with golden eagles. He will tell us about his birds. After it we can do some photos of the eagles. Afterwards we will go on our trip to Tamga village. This village is located on the southern shore of Issik Kul Lake (1600m), the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan and the 2nd largest mountain lake in the world. There is a military sanatorium in Tamga, there soviet astronauts used to rehabilitate and train their skills, as the altitude and climate created appropriate conditions to do that. After arrival in Tamga village you will have sometime to swim in the lake. Askar guesthouse accommodation.
Day 3: Tamga - Barskoon gorge - Dunguromo Pass (3570 m) - Dugurotmo gorge (5 hours)
We will drive to Barskoon village after breakfast. We will visit there the family whose occupation is manufacturing of yurts. This will be an incredible opportunity for you to reveal the secret of producing those amazing nomadic dwellings. Then we continue our way to Barskoon gorge, one of the most picturesque places in the mountainous Terskey Ala Too; you will see 60 meters high waterfall that is one of the highest in Kyrgyzstan (alt. 2500 m), as well as the memorial of astronauts that represents the 1st man in the space - Urii Gagarin. From this place we start an ascent to 3100 m. Dunguromo pass, trekking through which we find ourselves in a magnificent valley Dunguromo. After a few kilometers down from the pass at the altitude of 2850 m, we stop for the camping. Dinner will give us an opportunity to share with impressions of the first day. Night is in tents.
Day 4: Dungurotmo gorge - Zauka Pass (3750 m) - Chokolu Lake (7 hours)
Today early around 7 o'clock in the morning we wake up. We have a « vertical » hike over Zauka Pass, which is considered to be a historical pass, the part of the great Silk Road to the Chokolu Lake. Prominent travelers such as Ella Mayart (1932), Semenov Tyanshyanskiy (1856) visited this place in the ancient time. The landscape is relatively flat, from vegetation prevails fine grass and moss, the climate is close to the tundra climate. Coming closer to the lake we will set up our camp for the night at the altitude of 3800 m. Night is in tents.
Day 5: Chokolu Lake - Zauka Pass (3750 m) - Dzukuu gorge - Ashu Kashka Suu gorge we We will have to prepare all our equipment and belongings after breakfast to immerse them all on the horse. We have to get back to the Zauka pass and after passing it we will reach the Dzhukuu valley. We will go further. On the way we meet with Kyrgyz nomads who live here in summer time. You will be pleasantly surprised Kyrgyz nomads' hospitality. We will try Kyrgyz cheese there and if you want you can try Kyrgyz beer (fermented mare's milk). Then we go down the gorge about 20 km and reach the foot of the gorge of Ashu Kashka Suu where we set up camp for the night. Dinner and overnight is in tents at the altitude of 2770 m.
Day 6: Ashu Kashka Suu gorge - Ashu Tor Pass (3490 m) - Jukuchak gorge (7 hours)
In the early morning we will have to prepare all of our gear and then we will hike up the Ashu Kashka Suu gorge. Having reached the foot of the pass, we make a short halt for lunch and then we will have to climb to the Ashu Tor Pass (3490 m). After the pass we get into the Dzhukuchak gorge. There are the warm mineral springs and we are given an opportunity to take a bath in hot mineral water. We all dreamed about it for 4 days of our trek. After good bath our guide will offer you this time is real local Kyrgyz beer. Overnight and dinner are in the tents at an altitude of 2500 m.
Day 7: Dzhukuchak gorge - Orto Bulak Pass (2900 m) - Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge
We will go towards the Kichi Kyzyl Suu Valley in the morning. First we reach in the territory of Issyk Kul forestry that is located in the Dzhukuchak gorge; further we have to climb to 2900 m. Orto Bulak Pass. Afterwards we approach to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge. This place is famous for its incredible beauty and stunning views of mountains. We break our camp in Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge at the altitude of 2300 m. for the night. Sharing impressions of the passed day during the dinner. This night you are supposed to be spent in tents.
Day 8: Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Jili Suu water warm springs
After a good breakfast we begin our trekking. First we have to go down towards the picturesque Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge through the territory of forestry. Then we will go along the Mountains Djily Suu and finally we approach exciting Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge. We enter the area of Ak Tash here. After that we ascend about 3 miles up to the hot mineral springs. We will again be able to take a warm bath and to relax. Nomads and magnificent mountains make you feel like you are on the top of the world! This region is famous for its beauty! Overnight is in tents (at the altitude of 2150 m.).
Day 9: Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Kok Dzhayyk Pass (2700 meters) - Jeti Oguz gorge
After breakfast we start the last day of trekking in the direction of the Jeti Oguz gorge. First, we go down to the place of Ak Tash, where we cross the river Kyzyl Suu (Red River). After that we begin the ascent to the pass Kok Dzhayyk. The road will pass through a small pine forest, which will impress you with its dead quietness. It could seem as if the whole world looks at you there. After the forest we will have a look at the Jeti Oguz gorge which will impress you for sure, one of the most well-liked places to visit in our country. We reach the yurt camp Kok Dzhayyk after a couple of kilometers. We spend the night there, at the altitude of 2300 m. Dinner and overnight in yurts.
Day 10: Jety Oguz gorge - Karakol (30 km - 1 h)
Our journey will continue in the direction of the capital of Issik Kul region as soon as we finish with breakfast. In order to understand the Kyrgyz life of the 19th century we will visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the wooden mosque, made in the Chinese style. Today we will also visit Prjvalsky Memorial Complex, dedicated to the outstanding Russian explorer of Central Asia. Check-in hotel Elita**. This evening we drive to Dyishin village, where we will have dinner with Chinese Muslims, here they are called Dungans. They are good at agriculture and very famous for national cuisine. They came from Central China, from Dunhuang 200 years ago when it was a war between Chinese and not Chinese nationalities and religion. We will have an opportunity to try different kinds of salads and of course Dungan bread. You will have dinner, after we come back to hotel.
Day 11: Karakol - Kochkor village (330 km-6 h)
Early in the morning we move to the Kochkor village. Our trip will take 6 hours. On the way to Kochkor village we will drive along the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake - it means you will see the "pearl of Central Asia" form all sights! In Kochkor village we can discover Kyrgyz national traditions and customs watch the process of making traditional Kyrgyz carpets and visit a handicraft museum. Also we will see and participate in the process of settling a yurt, a traditional collapsible felt house of nomads. In the evening you will listen to the Folk-concert. Dinner in a yurt and carpet-making show is organized especially for you. Overnight is in a guesthouse.
Day 12: Kochkor - Bishkek
Drive to Bishkek - Kyrgyz capital. Accommodation in a guesthouse. Free time for walking around capital and for shopping.
Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
At the pick up time arranged previously according to your flight details you will be met by your guide at the hotel and accompanied to Manas International Airport.
