Uzgen complex

The Uzgen complex is one of the historical and cultural places in Kyrgyzstan. In the course of a tour in Kyrgyzstan you will get acquainted with archaeological complex which is located 54 kilometers from Osh city on the right bank of the Kara Darya River. The complex is connected with the Uzgen city in the II-I centuries BC. Before it was the main center of trade on the way from the Fergana Valley to Kashgar. When you travel in Kyrgyzstan you will learn that in the XI-XII centuries, it was the second capital of the Karakhanid state and was built in the period of the heyday of the dynasty. Travelling in Kyrgyzstan will amaze you by wonderful architecture of the country's heritage. There are a lot of minarets as well as museums which goes back to the ancient times. In the course of a tour in Kyrgyzstan you will see the initial height of the minaret which is 45 meters. After destruction it got the height of 27.5 meters. There are three parts of the complex as the square foundation with a depth of two meters and sides of nine meters made of stones and sealed with loess solution. There is the lower part of minaret which has an octahedral base with a height of five meters. They built of burnt bricks. Moving you will see the southern side with a height of two meters where the entrance to the minaret. The middle part of the complex has a cylindrical shape which goes upwards. The diameter of the minaret at the bottom is about eight meters and in the upper part is about six. When you enter in the minaret in a tour in Kyrgyzstan you will see a spiral staircase with 53 steps.  It is very beautiful complex which will not leave anyone indifferent in tours in Kyrgyzstan.
