This marvelous tour gives you the possibility to ride a horse along one of the Great Silk Road parts that passed through the territory of Kyrgyz Republic. This tour uncovers for you the chance to familiarize with the Kyrgyz nomadic traditions, try staple drink - Kumis(mare's milk that is fermented) and appetizing national dishes. The proverb "Horse is man's wings" reflects the importance of horses in the life of the Kyrgyz nomads. Since ancient times, horses played an important part in the life of the Kyrgyz people, because it was almost impossible without a horse to survive in the country of Tien - Shan Mountains.
Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
From Manas International Airport you ill be collected and accompanied to Bishkek City by your guide. (30 minutes drive from the Airport to Bishkek). You will start this day in Bishkek with a breakfast. This whole day will be devoted to a guided City Tour, including lunch. This sightseeing tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Oak Park (Duboviy Park), Victory Square (Pobeda Square), the Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan, National Concert Hall, Osh Bazaar, Kyrgyz Museum of Fine Arts and many others places of interest. Transfer from Bishkek city to Chon Kemin Valley to the Guesthouse of Kalmak-Ashuu, where you also will spend the night. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors).
Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - gorge Kitchi Kyzyl Suu
At 7 o'clock in the morning your breakfast is served. We will start our trip to Kichi Kyzyl Suu by vehicle after breakfast. We will go along the southern shore of the Celestial Issyk-Kul Lake (1608m.above sea level) during our trip. This lake is very often called "the pearl of Central Asia". Lake - Issik Kul is the 2nd world's largest mountain lake. You will have a horseback riding after arrival in the beautiful Kitshi Kyzyl Suu gorge. You can try, in Kichi Kyzyl Suu, the Kyrgyz staple national drink - Kumis - mare's milk that is fermented. Overnight stay is in tents. Our dinner is served at 7 o'clock in the evening.
Day 3: Kitchi Kyzyl Suu - Kashka-Suu Lake
At 8 o'clock is breakfast. Pack your backpacks. Afterwards you will have an ascent on horses to the Pass of Kashka - Suu (3891m. a. s. l.). You will take your lunch there. Followed by that, you will ride your horse to the lake for six hours. This lake is called Kashka-Suu. It finds its origin in a glacier that is why the water is so clean and sparkling there. Kashka - Suu is situated at the altitude of 3800 meters a. s. l. We will spend this night in tents. At 7 o'clock in the evening our dinner is served.
Day 4: Lake Kashka-Suu - Kumtor River (3012m. a. s. l.)
After early morning breakfast you will start six hours horse riding to Kumtor River. Kumtor River is the most well-known place for the gold diggers. There some people even now days try to find out gold. You will ride among Ak Shirak Mountains that even in summer are covered with snow. The changeable weather of this place will surprise you. It can change from winter snow to summer heat within half an hour. You will spend the night in tents near the Central Tien Shan observatory. At 7 o' clock in the evening dinner will be served.
Day 5: Kumtor - Arabel Suu
At 8 o'clock in the morning we commence our day with a breakfast. We will ride your horse for five hours after breakfast along Arabel Suu River. Traditional lunch will be taken on the way. Next, we will keep on to the valley of the mountain lakes. It makes unforgettable feelings to walk there.There are eight lakes, which are situated nearby each other and you could see all of them. Near Arabel Suu River dinner and overnight are in tents.
Day 6: Arabel Suu - Chokoli Lakes (3006m)
At 8 o'clock in the morning breakfast is served. Horse riding will be continued to the Lakes of Chokoli. Not far from the mountain lake you will visit the glacier. There, with a bit of fortune, you could see Marco Polo sheep and ibexes. This overnight is near the lake in the tent camp. Our dinner is served at 7 o'clock in the evening.
Day 7: Chokoli Lakes - Bishkek (by vehicle)
The breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock in the morning. Pack your luggage. Drive to Bishkek City by vehicle. On arrival in Bishkek at around 5 p.m. in the Hotel*** you will have time for yourself until your pick up. At 7 p.m. in a café we will have departure dinner.
Day 8: Flight home
You will be collected from the hotel at the time arranged beforehand according to the details of your flight and accompanied to The International Airport of Manas.
