Kyrgyzstan tour 3

Welcome to Kyrgyzstan - the country of the Celestial mountains, marvelous lakes and enchantingly beautiful nature! We would like to offer a perfect tour for those travelers and tourists who adore nature. This tour was specially developed. It includes the visiting of the southern and northern parts of Kyrgyz Republic. During this adventure you will visit one of the greatest walnut forests in the world and see famous lakes Sary Chelek and Son Kul. You will spend the nights not only in guesthouses and hotels but also in yurts - traditional dwellings of the nomads.

You will be collected from Manas International Airport by your guide. Transfer fom Bishkek to Sary Chelek Lake. Sary Chelek is the most stunning lake in Kyrgyz Republic. It was formed due to the earthquake, which provoked stone fall that blocked the river that passed through the valley, and the water collected right in the gorge. There is an excellent opportunity to take pleasure in its fantastic beauty! This lake is about 2.5 km. in width and 75 km. long! This mountain lake is situated at the altitude of 1873 m. above sea level. It is located far away from cities and it is really worth to visit it! 

 

Breakfast is at 8 o'clock in the morning. Transfer from Sary Chelek to Arslan Bob forest by car. Along the whole way to the forest you will see plenty of picturesque places that will amaze you by their beauty. Arslan Bob is one of the most spectacular places in Kyrgyzstan, and one of the biggest walnuts bearing forests in the world. Here are the trees with two meter thick trunks; some of them reach 30 meters in a height. They grow wild on the slopes of the mountain ranges of Chatkal and Fergana, along river banks at an altitude of between 1000 and1800 meters a. s. l. Arslan Bob Village lies itself at the altitude of 1700 m. above sea level. You will spend this night in the guesthouse of the local family. 

 

This day is devoted to the exploration of this place. You will go for hiking with your guide to enjoy the beauty of this place and to see a waterfall that is considered as the holy place. After that you can go on walking around or just relax in a calm atmosphere of this forest. 

 

Fortifying breakfast. Transfer ffom Arslanbob to Jalal Abad town that is the administrative center of Jalal - Abad region. You will have drive to this town along the mountain road that will have many remarkable views. The region has played host to travelers for thousands of years as one of the main branches of the Great Silk Road passed through its territory. Overnight is in the guesthouse in Jalal - Abad.

Breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock in the morning. Transfer from Jalal - Abad to the second biggest city in Kyrgyz Republic - Osh. En route to the city we will visit also Uzgen town. There is Tower and three beautiful mausoleums that were built at the end of the 11th century. The city of Osh is older than Rome because it is more than 3000 years old. You will visit one of the most interesting bazaars; it streched along the Ak - Buura River for one km, where you can make hundreds of photos. This bazaar place is the most well-known in Kyrgyzstan. After visiting bazaar you we go to the sacred Suleiman Mountain that is situated in the very heart of the city. Overnight is in the guest house. 

 

Transfer from Osh back to Uzgen in order to cross Pamir - Alai Mountains and to drive in the heart of Tien Shan Mountain system, in the Naryn Region. On our way, we will see stunning mountains and you will have a great possibility to take pleasure in its nature. You will have a dinner as soon as we are in Kazarman. You will spend this night in the home stay. 

 

Breakfast is at 8 o'clock in the morning. After packing your backpacks you will be transferred to the Great Silk Road Tash Rabat Caravanserai. You will be carried away by the astonishing panorama offered through views the untouched nature. Tash Rabat translated as Stone Castle, its construction refers to the 14th century A. D. The building is a unique one. In total there are 31 rooms that are joined with the central domed Chamber. The thickness of walls is 1 m. There are also dungeons for ancient thieves. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. And it has no analogue in the whole world, because it was made of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat Caravanserai. Yurts are built without nails. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening. 

 

Breakfast. Transfer from Tash Rabat Caravanserai to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul. On the way lunch will be taken. Son Kul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level (it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan), on the treeless plateau. Son - Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains. Kyrgyz nomads and herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a summer pastureland, but in the mid of autumn they return back to their villages. You will be free to explore and take pleasure in the lake's virgin nature and its surroundings after our arrival. Dinner. Overnight stay is in the yurt camp.

9 a.m. breakfast.  This day you will have enough spare time at Son-Kul Lake to get acquainted with nomadic customs and culture and to explore the nature on your own. Optionally, you can ride on a horse alongside the lake's shore, or just relax in the wild, but calm natural atmosphere.  Our lunch will be served at 2 p.m. After that you will see also ancient petroglyphs - carvings on the stones. In  yurts, national dinner will be served. You will spend the night as nomads do, in yurt. 

 

Strengthening breakfast. Transfer (185 km) from Son Kul lake to Kochkor Village. Upon arrival in Kochkor village you will meet a family that uncover for you the secrets of national felt carpets production. During this felt show you even can create your own carpet. Overnight in a home stay. Traditional dinner with a local family.  

 

Transfer from the Village of Kochkor to Konorchek Canyons. We will have hiking in the spectacular place of red canyons as soon as we arrive there. The canyons are of different shapes that make your hiking so interesting. This is a real paradise for people who like to make pictures!

This place is completely different from all other mountains in Kyrgyz Republic.

This day we will go on hiking in this fantastic red sandstone canyons. You will be astonished by the variable views during the whole hiking tour. This place has really exceptional natural conditions that are waiting for you. You will have an opportunity to go both along the bottom of canyons and then along the top of it.

We will go to the place where our chauffeur will wait us after breakfast. Transfer from Konorchek to the Valley of chon Kemin along Boom Gorge. This night you will spend in Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse.

 

Breakfast is at 8 o'clock. Transfer from Chon Kemin Valley to Bishkek city. We will visit Burana Tower - minaret of 11 century and an open air museum of Balbans - stone warriors, on the way to Bishkek. You will have a city tour when you come in Bishkek. Night in a hotel***. A farewell dinner will be in the restaurant at 7 o'clock in the evening. 

 

At the time arranged previously according to your flight details your guide will meet you in the hotel in order to accompany you to Manas Airport.
